The Cubot Note 40 is a successor to the Cubot Note 30. The model features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, standing at a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels.

Running on Android 13, the phone is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, built on a 12nm process. It parked an octa-core CPU, with 2 Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores also running at 1.6 GHz. The graphics are handled by the Mali-G57 MP1 GPU.
