The Google Pixel 8 is a successor to the Google Pixel 7. This model an impressive OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, supporting HDR10+. Its  display has 6.2-inches standing at 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and an always-on display serve as a protective edge to the smartphone.

In terms of performance, the Pixel 8 runs on Android 14, powered by the Google Tensor G3 chipset fabricated on a 4nm process. It bring a nona-core CPU configuration, featuring a Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.0 GHz, four Cortex-A715 cores running at 2.45 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores at 2.15 GHz. Its graphics are handled by the Immortalis-G715s MC10 GPU.

For storage and memory, the Google Pixel 8 offers internal options of 128GB with 8GB of RAM or 256GB with 8GB of RAM, utilizing UFS 3.1 for swift data access.

On the back of the device, it’s equipped with dual-camera setup, including a 50 MP wide lens and a 12 MP ultrawide lens. Enhancing the rear camera are features such as Dual-LED flash, Pixel Shift, Ultra-HDR. The device also excels in video recording, supporting 4K at various frame rates and 10-bit HDR.

The selfie camera is a 10.5 MP ultrawide lens with features like Auto-HDR and panorama mode, also supporting 4K video recording.

The Google 8 offers a rich audio experience with stereo speakers, although it does not include a 3.5mm audio jack. The Google Pixel 8 is available in colors including Obsidian, Hazel, and Rose, with various models denoted as GKWS6 and G9BQD.

The device is powered by a non-removable 4575 mAh Li-Ion battery, supporting 27W wired charging with fast charging technologies, including PD3.0 and PPS, delivering 50% charge in just 30 minutes as advertised. It also supports 18W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
