Leaked Live Shots Offer First Glimpse of Nothing Phone 2a Design

Nothing Phone 2a Design. Although Nothing has confirmed the official name of its next smartphone as the Nothing Phone (2a), the company has not revealed its design yet. However, alleged live images of the Phone (2a) prototype have now surfaced online, giving us the first sneak peek at what the phone may look like. The images were reportedly posted briefly on Nothing’s Reddit page before being taken down.

The leaked shots show the Phone (2a) encased in a protective covering, limiting the view of the actual design. But the images still offer hints at what we can expect. On the front, there is a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The bezels appear uniform all around.

The case completely hides the back of the phone in the leaked images. However, we can see the camera module and LED flash peeking through a cutout. This suggests that the Phone (2a) will feature a horizontally stacked dual rear camera setup.

While the design remains unclear, reports have drifted in about the Phone (2a) specifications featuring a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,900mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The camera configuration is rumored to include a 50MP main sensor paired with a 50MP ultrawide lens.

These leaked shots indicate Nothing may have accidentally revealed its prototype device, hinting at the final design. We expect Nothing to officially unveil more Phone (2a) details as we approach the rumored February launch. The leaked images provide early clues but don’t fully give away whether we’ll see a radically different aesthetic compared to the Glyph interface’s transparent design on the Nothing Phone (1).
