Oppo F25 Pro 5G Release Date in India: What to Expect

Oppo F25 Pro 5G Release Date in India: Oppo is gearing up to launch its latest F-series smartphone, the Oppo F25 Pro 5G, in India on February 27. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has confirmed some key details about the phone’s design and opened pre-bookings on Amazon. So what can we expect from the Oppo F25 Pro 5G? Let’s take a look.

Oppo F25 Pro 5G Design and Display

Official renders on Amazon reveal that the Oppo F25 Pro 5G will sport a punch-hole display with slim bezels all around. The cutout is likely home to a 32MP front camera. On the back, there’s a rectangular triple camera module accompanied by an LED flash.

The Oppo F25 Pro 5G will be offered in two gradient color variants – Sunset Coral and Starlit Black. It seems to have a matte finish glass back. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button.

The handset is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel will also offer Panda glass protection for durability.

Oppo F25 Pro 5G Hardware and Software

Under the hood, rumors suggest the Oppo F25 Pro 5G could draw power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 chipset. This will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone will boot Android 14-based ColorOS out of the box.

For imaging, the Oppo F25 Pro 5G may come equipped with a 64MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro snapper. There could also be a 16MP front-facing camera. The phone is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging.

Oppo F25 Pro 5G Expected Pricing

Oppo is yet to confirm the official pricing of the F25 Pro 5G. However, considering last year’s Oppo F23 5G debuted at Rs 19,990 in India, we can expect the Pro model to be priced between Rs 25,000-30,000. This would allow it to compete with the likes of the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G and Moto Edge 30.

The standard Oppo F25 5G is also said to launch alongside the Pro variant on February 27. So those wanting a more affordable 5G offering from Oppo may not have to wait too long. As the launch nears, we hope to get more clarity on the pricing and availability details.
