Oppo Reno2 Z – Specs, Price And Review

The Oppo Reno2 Z is one of the smartphones released by the firm as part of the Reno 2 series. This smartphone features a quad-camera configuration on the back and is one of the few on the market to use the MediaTek Helio P90 SoC.

Oppo chose a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner for the device. The display is legible outside, and the in-display fingerprint scanner unlocks the smartphone quickly. There is no notch on the display, and the selfie camera is housed in a pop-up module.

The phone runs ColorOS on top of Android 9 Pie and includes some handy features. Bloatware is preinstalled on the device, and it is preferable to uninstall it because it is a source of spammy notifications.

The MediaTek Helio P90 SoC performed well in our tests, but it does not provide the same value for money as some of the other processors available at this price point. Oppo only offers the Reno 2Z in one configuration: 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Oppo Reno2 Z has quad-camera arrangement at the back helps it shoot good images during the day, but its performance suffers in low light. It also has a night mode that helps improve low-light photographs. The selfie shooter takes good photographs that may be shared immediately on social media.

Oppo has included a 4,000mAh battery that is capable of lasting around a day and a half. In addition, a 20W charger is included in the box to charge the battery.
