Realme 12 Pro series Launch Date; All You Should Know The China Model

Realme 12 Pro series Launch Date; Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will launch in China on February 27 at 2 pm local time. The smartphones originally debuted globally last month.

The Chinese variants of the Realme 12 Pro series are expected to sport the same specifications seen on the global models. This includes 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED displays, 5,000mAh batteries with 67W fast charging, Realme UI 5 based on Android 14, and 50MP main cameras.

The key differences lie in their chipsets – the Realme 12 Pro has a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 while the 12 Pro+ steps up to a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. Both phones pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 12 Pro+ further distinguishes itself with a superior 64MP telephoto camera enabling 3x optical zoom.

Realme is also teasing the Realme 12+ 5G for launch in India on February 29. This smartphone already passed TENAA certification in China earlier, revealing its Dimensity 7050 chipset and similar display to the Pro models.

With the 12+ 5G already certified and its details mostly known, it seems plausible that Realme may launch the phone alongside the 12 Pro duo in its home market on February 27. Either way, Realme fans in China can look forward to quite the selection of new mid-range 5G devices.
