Vivo V30 5G Series Officially Teased for Launch in Philippines

Vivo V30 5G Series Officially Teased for Launch. Vivo has started teasing the launch of its latest V30 smartphone series in the Philippines. The company has put up a dedicated microsite confirming the Vivo V30 is “coming soon” to the country. An official render on the teaser page gives us the first look at the design of the upcoming device.

The image reveals slim bezels and a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout on the Vivo V30’s front display. There seems to be a curved edge panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. Around the back, the phone features a prominent squarish camera housing that protrudes slightly.

While details around specs are scarce for now, previous certifications have hinted at some of the core hardware of the Vivo V30 5G. As per an earlier Geekbench listing, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB RAM. It will run Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box.

Last month, Vivo also unveiled a toned-down V30 Lite model with a Snapdragon 695 SoC. There is also expected to be a higher-end Vivo V30 Pro in the lineup equipped with fast charging support. All models should offer an immersive viewing experience backed by Vivo’s prowess in display tech.

In terms of pricing, the Vivo V30 series should compete in the upper mid-range segment when it launches in the Philippines. The phones are confirmed to support 5G connectivity, in line with Vivo’s focus on next-gen network devices. Color options could include black, blue, or a gradient purple shade.

Vivo is gearing up for an official launch event for the V30 series in the Philippines very soon. As one of the top smartphone vendors in the country, Vivo will be aiming to disrupt the likes of Xiaomi, realme, and Samsung with its latest V-series devices, packing trendy designs and features.
