Huawei Pocket S2 Key Specs. Huawei is reportedly working on a new foldable smartphone featuring a clamshell folding design. Dubbed the Pocket S2, this device would succeed the original Pocket S flip phone that was released in 2021. Now, a recent leak from Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some key details about the Pocket S2 specs and color variants.
Familiar Flip Phone Design
According to the leak, the Huawei Pocket S2 will retain the overall design language and form factor of its predecessor. This means the phone will continue to feature a clamshell-style folding screen on the inside along with a cover display on the outside.
The rear camera setup is expected to consist of a triple camera array housed in two large circular camera modules – similar to the Pocket S. One of these modules may also incorporate an external display panel. However, the tipster mentions both circular elements will be slightly bigger compared to the ones on the original Pocket S.
Huawei Pocket S2 Performance
Under the hood, the Pocket S2 is said to be powered by the Kirin 9000S chipset. This is a 5G-enabled high-end processor that should deliver excellent performance. Fueling the hardware could be a decently sized 4,520mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging. This should allow the phone to charge from 0 to 50% in just about 15 minutes.
Huawei Pocket S2 New Color Options
Much like its predecessor, Huawei may launch the Pocket S2 in a unique Art Edition with special color variants. As per the leak, customers can expect a grey color option with a glass back as well as a purple model featuring a leather rear panel. These special editions are likely to draw attention with their unique yet premium designs.
Additionally, Huawei is also said to be developing a smartphone with a tri-foldable display. But no other concrete information is available about this mysterious phone as of now.
