Infinix Smart 8 Price In India And Availability. Infinix has launched a new budget smartphone in India, the Infinix Smart 8. This is an upgraded version of the Infinix Smart 8 that was unveiled in November 2022. The India variant comes with a more powerful MediaTek Helio G36 processor and a higher resolution 50MP primary camera.

The Infinix Smart 8 has been priced competitively at INR 7,499 (roughly $90/₹80) for the sole 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model. It will be available for purchase soon via Flipkart in four color options – Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold, Timber Black and Galaxy White.

Unlike the international variant with the Unisoc T606 chipset, the India model is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 processor built on the 12nm fabrication process. This octa-core CPU promises better performance and power efficiency compared to the Unisoc SoC. For graphics, it has an ARM Mali G52 GPU.
There is 4GB of RAM, which should allow smooth multitasking capabilities. The internal storage is 64GB, and you can further expand it up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card slot. Software-wise, it runs the latest XOS 13 based on Android 13 Go edition out-of-the-box.
One of the biggest changes in the Infinix Smart 8 for India is the better 50MP AI triple rear camera setup. This is a major upgrade over the 13MP main camera found on the international model. Some handy features on the Infinix Smart 8 include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock for quick biometric authentication. The device also comes with a dedicated microSD card, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio support, and DTS audio enhancement. There is also a selfie flash module that will aid in low-light photography.
