OnePlus 12 Hands-On Video Leaks Ahead of Launch, Confirms Battery and Charging Details. Ahead of its launch in China, tomorrow (Dec. 5), leaked hands-on video footage provides a first look at the upcoming OnePlus 12. The brand also released new posters confirming battery size and charging capabilities. This follows our previous coverage detailing other specifications.

The brief hands-on video gives a glimpse of the OnePlus 12 from both the front and back. We get to see the curved display with a hole-punch front camera in action. Around the back, the prominent camera module matches up with what we already knew about the 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 64MP telephoto setup. 

As for the battery, OnePlus touts a robust 5,400mAh capacity engineered for extended 1.79-day usage and maintained 80% capacity for up to 1600 charge cycles. Charging sees major improvements:

  • New 50W wireless charging: 0 to 100% in 55 minutes
  • Reverse wireless charging support

The posters also confirm the IP65 dust and water resistance rating on the model, this is an upgrade over IP64 on the OnePlus 11.

With a larger 6.82” display capable of 4500 nit peak brightness, plus up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, the OnePlus 12 represents a flagship worthy of the brand’s 10th anniversary. It will pack Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

The launch event on December 5th looks set to fully unveil the performance and other details. Let’s wait and see.
