Mobicel Legend Max

Mobicel, a South African smartphone manufacturer, has added a new gadget to its lineup, the Legend Max. The model is the successor to the preceding vanilla Legend, which debuted in 2020.

The manufacturer has worked on the design and various internals to make it appear to be a true update from earlier versions, but it still remains archaic when compared to today’s rapidly evolving technology. The display, on the other hand, is the device’s selling point, as it features a big 6.8-inch screen, a significant advance from the previous generation’s 6.5-inch screens.

The UNISOC SC9863A CPU, which features an 8-core CPU with a maximum frequency of 1.6GHz, powers the phone. The PowerVR GE8322 is the GPU unit. The RAM is still on the low side, with only 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal ROM available on the Mobicel Legend Max, although there is a slot for an SD card.

The Mobicel Legend Max has three sensors on the back, with the main lens being a 13MP snapper and two additional auxiliary lenses. The front-facing camera consists of a single 8MP lens.

The phone boasts a good 4000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The operating system is Android, and the color options are limited, as it is only available in Green. Mobicel has set the Legend Max at RMB 1,699 in South Africa, which is almost $120 USD.
