So, is the Moto E7i Power a phone with a large battery or a phone with a battery that allows you to make phone calls? We choose the former since, while a 5000 mAh battery is big, phones with larger batteries are now available. Even up to 6000 mAh. Motorola will not go that far, but the E7i Power has a lengthy battery life. Up to two days, or 40 hours, on a single charge. Enough to stream video for 19 hours, listen to music for 78 hours, or surf the web for 14 hours. The Moto E7i Power requires some rest when it has been depleted. Because fast charging is not available, a full recharge will take many hours.
The SC9863 processor from the relatively unknown UNISOC is housed within the Moto E7i Power. This is not a particularly powerful processor for everyday use. The name ‘Power’ so refers to the battery rather than its performance. Android Go-edition was used to keep the Android operating system running properly. This is a stripped-down version with few apps. This comes at the expense of some functionalities, which will have been reduced here and there. The E7i Power is best viewed as an entry-level phone with limited capabilities and a long battery life.
The Motorola Moto E7i Power has a 6.5-inch HD+ display, a 13MP main camera with a 2MP macro lens, a headphone jack, and a fingerprint scanner on the back. There is even an official IP grade for waterproofing: IP52. That stands for “water resistant,” thus full head down is not advised. A dedicated button on the right side of the phone allows you to access the Google Assistant. You can ask it questions like “what is the cheapest Motorola phone?” It’s a shame that the E7i Power has so little memory: 32GB. Fortunately, that can be expanded using a memory card. The phone supports memory cards with capacities of up to 512GB.
Motorola Moto E7i Power Price
The Motorola Moto E7i Power goes for about $99 dollars in the United States, about £80 pounds in theUK, €114 Euro in Europe, and about N62,000 Naira in Nigeria.
