The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been out for a few years, but it’s still a good option for people searching for flagship-level design and solid performance for under $500. The model and Galaxy S8+ sport 5.8- and 6.2-inch edge-to-edge infinity displays, respectively, with Qualcomm’s comparatively swift Snapdragon 835 chipset for quick performance.

We’re still not lovers of the fingerprint sensor’s placement. But when you combine excellent battery life and improvements to an already excellent camera, you have two winning handsets in the Samsung S8 and S8+.

The model and the S8+ version were released in April of 2017. The device now starts at $499 with 64GB of storage. The larger Galaxy S8+ is less widely accessible, although it costs around $589. However, we’ve seen this phone for as little as $230 currently
