WhatsApp Video Messaging: Sending Videos as messages is a feature Meta is bringing to WhatsApp. Previously voice messages was introduced to the messaging app, and this feature has been a staple, enabling people to easily send messages using voice without writing.

Now Video Messages is coming to WhatsApp “in the coming weeks” according to WhatsApp’s parent company, Meta. I believe you are excited to hear this and may what to test it out. Also, you may be wondering how it process is going to look and feels.

The WhatsApp Video messages that is coming to the app, follow the same pattern with WhatsApp Voice Messages. If you are familiar with Voice Note the you will have no trouble sending Video messages on the app.

Like WhatsApp voice notes and text messages, video messages are protected with WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption. The feature enables you to send video messages of up to 60 seconds long to your receiver.

WhatsApp Video Messaging

Like I mention earlier, Sending a video message is made similar to sending voice note, so you may not need to send ‘How To Send WhatsApp Video Messages’.

To send WhatsApp Video Messages you should double tapped the previous icon meant for voice messages to get into video messages mode. After which tap and hold on the icon to record video, when you are done recording just release your hand and the video will be sent automatically.

Wondering if lock video feature is available on the WhatsApp video messages? Yes! Like the WhatsApp voice note, video messages can also be locked when recording. To do just that, swipe up to lock when recording without needing to keep the record button pressed down.
