Indian consumer electronics brand boAt has launched yet another smartwatch in the country – the boAt Ultima Select. Coming right after the Rockerz 255 ANC neckband and two new TWS earphones, the boAt Ultima Select offers a stylish design with a large display and a host of health tracking as well as smart features.

Design and Display
The boAt Ultima Select features a squarish dial with curved edges, giving it an almost hexagonal shape. It has a metal unibody design that lends it a premium look and feel. There is a rotating crown on the right side that is fully functional. The smartwatch is IP68-certified for dust and water resistance.
It packs a large 2.01-inch always-on AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The screen has a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels. There is support for raise-to-wake gestures as well.
Health and Fitness Tracking
On the health tracking front, the Ultima Select smartwatch comes equipped with sensors to monitor heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO2), sleep patterns as well as stress levels. It also offers guided breathing sessions for relaxation.
In terms of fitness, the watch can track over 100 different sports modes and activity types. Step counting, calories burnt, and distance covered can all be measured automatically. It also provides passive alerts when you sit in one position for too long.
Battery and Connectivity
The boAt Ultima Select delivers up to 5 days of battery life on a single charge under normal usage. Charging time is not specified by the company yet. It has Bluetooth 5.3 LE and is compatible with Android 6.0+ and iOS 12.0+ devices.
Convenient Features
Being a smart wearable, the Ultima Select offers plenty of convenient features as well. You get notification alerts, remote music playback controls, weather updates, and more. There is also a built-in microphone for Bluetooth calling functionality.
Other useful features include mobile payment scan capability, a Find My Phone app to ring your phone, auto DND when driving, multiple watch faces, and 5ATM water resistance. You also get a host of watch-based tools like a stopwatch, timer, alarm clock, calendar, events reminder, and even games.
boAt Ultima Select Price and Availability
The boAt Ultima Select has been priced competitively at Rs. 2,999 in India. It will be up for grabs starting 9th February 2024 via Amazon India and boAt’s official website. Color options at launch are Steel Black, Deep Blue, Cool Grey, and Active Black.
