Honor Unveils Honor X50 Pro Smartphone Bringing Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

Honor has officially launched its much-anticipated Honor X50 Pro smartphone. The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at 2,799 yuan ($410) and is currently only available for purchase in offline stores.

The X50 Pro features an elegant black and green colour scheme. It has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a pinhole front camera and a resolution of 2652×1200 pixels. Users can choose between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rates for smooth scrolling and graphics. The display also supports 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for vibrant, accurate colours across its 1.07 billion colour spectrum. Despite the large screen, the phone weighs only 192g and measures 7.98mm thin.

Powering the X50 Pro is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with a CPU configuration designed for seamless performance – one high-powered 3.0GHz core for demanding apps, three 2.5GHz cores for optimal processing, and four 1.8GHz cores for efficiency.

The phone packs a large 5800mAh battery with anti-aging technology that maintains long battery life even after years of use. It comes with a 35W charger.

For photography, the X50 Pro features a main 108-megapixel rear camera with a large 1/1.67-inch sensor and ƒ/1.75 aperture. It is paired with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The front camera is 8 megapixels with an ƒ//2.0 aperture for crisp selfies.
