Lava Yuva 3 Smartphone in India Soon. Indian smartphone brand Lava is preparing to expand its product portfolio with the launch of a new affordable smartphone, the Yuva 3. While the company unveiled the higher-end Yuva 3 Pro last year, it is now working on bringing the regular Yuva 3 model to the Indian market in the coming weeks.
As per a recent teaser page on Amazon India, Lava will be equipping the Yuva 3 with high-speed 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. This next-gen storage technology enables up to 3 times faster data access speeds compared to older eMMC storage found in many budget phones. Users can expect a smoother general performance, whether launching apps, switching between multiple apps, or playing graphic-intensive games.
The Amazon teaser also confirms that the Yuva 3 will be offered in a 64GB storage variant along with support for expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. This should allow buyers ample flexibility to store their apps, photos, videos, and other personal content without worrying about storage limitations, especially for a phone in the budget category.

While an exact launch date and pricing details are awaited, the Yuva 3 can be expected to arrive as a toned-down version of the Yuva 3 Pro, which was released last year at a starting price of Rs. 8,999. As such, we can speculate the vanilla Yuva 3 to be priced around Rs. 6,999 to Rs. 7,999 to compete effectively with rivals in the affordable segment like Xiaomi, Realme, Infinix, and more.
In terms of specifications, the Yuva 3 Pro featured a 6.5-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, a UNISOC T616 processor, quad rear cameras (50MP main), an 8MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. So, we can expect the standard Yuva 3 model to offer a similar hardware configuration but with some cutbacks to achieve a lower price point.
Nonetheless, the high-speed UFS 2.2 storage, along with the expected large battery capacity with fast charging support, should give the regular Lava Yuva 3 an edge over the competition when it comes to real-world usage and multitasking.
