MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Will Be Arriving Next Week: Mediatek is set to release their new chipset, called Dimensity 8300. This affordable SoC is confirmed to be arriving by November 21, 2023, at 3 PM Beijing time (7 AM UTC). It was also confirmed that there is going to be a live stream introduction on Weibo.
Spec-wise the Dimensity 8300 will be bringing Mali G52 MC6 GPU which will at 850MHz frequency. The TSMC’s N4P4nm is expected to be used in fabricating the Dimensity 8300.
Rumors are indicating that the 8300 might feature a 1+3+4 architecture, incorporating ARMv9 cores reminiscent of the Dimensity 9300. Speculations suggest a Cortex-X3 prime core at 2.8GHz, accompanied by 3 Cortex-A715 performance cores running at 2.4GHz, and 4 Cortex-A510 efficiency cores operating at 1.6GHz.
