As the name suggests, this is an advanced health and activity-tracking smart ring encased in a minimal yet eye-catching titanium alloy casing.
Omate Ice Ring Design and Build
The Ice Ring sports a slim 2.5mm profile and lightweight 2.9g build making it comfortable to wear all day long. The outer casing comes in a choice of three colors – Gold, Silver and Space Black. It’s built from durable titanium alloy that not only looks sleek but also packs an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Omate Ice Ring Health Monitoring Features
Packed with advanced sensors and algorithms, the Ice Ring provides comprehensive health monitoring and useful insights about your daily activities and sleeping patterns. This ring can track your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep stages, and your stress levels.
The ring monitors your sleep by tracking four main sleep stages – Awake, Deep Sleep, Light Sleep, and REM. You get your sleeping score each morning based on the quality and duration of your sleep, this gives you actionable inputs to improve your sleep hygiene.
It also keeps a tab on your heart rate throughout the day and alerts you in case of any abnormal readings. The ring can also read and display your current blood oxygen saturation measurements.
Omate Ice Ring Activity Tracking
The Ice Ring features support for activity tracking for walks, runs, cycling and other sports. Thanks to the built-in GPS and integration with Google Maps, you can even track detailed workout routes. The ring captures health metrics like calories burned, heart rate zones, workout pace and duration.
Omate Ice Ring Battery Life and Charging
The ring packs a 20mAh battery which lasts for 4-6 days of active use tracking your health vitals and activities. Standby time of the ring is advertised at around 10 days. It uses a magnetic pogo pin based charging cradle that can spead up the battery from 0 to 100% in just 30 minutes.
Omate Ice Ring Price and Availability
The Omate Ice Ring is available now in Europe through retailers like Ice-Watch and Louis Pion for €199 (around $220). It will make its way across the Atlantic in early 2024, launching in North America as well. Sizing options include 6 sizes suiting ring finger circumferences between 14mm to 20mm.
