You heard it first here! It is, at least in appearance, a clone of the iPhone 12. In contrast to the iPhone, the Cubot C30 features a MediaTek processor and an ARM GPU. The overall appearance and feel are likewise less smooth and polished than the iPhone. In any camera performance test, I believe the camera will not outperform an iPhone’s camera system.

The pricing, on the other hand, is where the C30 differentiates itself from the competition. It just costs $170 (76,500 Naira). That’s one-sixth of the price of an iPhone 12 or half the price of an Apple Watch.
There’s no denying that this is a steal in the affordable smartphone market. And, with appearances similar to an iPhone, the next consideration is if it has enough power under the hood to be the right phone for you.
There’s not much to say here; one look at the C30 reveals where Cubot drew design inspiration for this phone. The camera hump is reminiscent of the iPhone 12’s boxy camera module, while the C30’s flush back continues the iPhone trend. The front has a tiny difference from the iPhone 12, in that instead of a notch, there is a hole punch camera cut-out.
Overall, it’s a nice-looking phone with well-rounded edges and a strong feel to it. Cubot is clearly happy of the design they were able to duplicate, as evidenced by the presence of a distinct Cubot insignia on the back of the phone.

Sideways, you’ll find the standard volume rocker and power key. A fingerprint sensor on the side is pleasant to the touch. According to preliminary impressions, it also works well and quickly. The Cubot C30 is available in two colour combinations that are very comparable – If you desire the Cubot C30, you may buy it in two colour combinations: black and green.
The Cubot C30 is powered by the well-known MediaTek Helio P30 processor, which is linked to an ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. Although this CPU is a little out of date (it initially appeared in 2018), it is still highly capable. It features a healthy 2.0 GHz maximum clock speed and drives the Cubot C30 to an AnTuTu Benchmark score of 149,166. This is higher than the Xiaomi Redmi 9 and the Elephone U2.
The Cubot C30 has an incredible 8GB of RAM. 8GB is a lot of RAM, and you’d be hard pressed to find another Android smartphone with 8GB of RAM at this price. This RAM module, when combined with the MediaTek Helio P30 in this phone, provides a smooth and seamless smartphone experience.
The C30’s app navigation is fluid, and scrolling via Google Chrome is effortless. The phone also powers through performance-intensive apps with ease. Of course, this doesn’t compare to the fluidity found on newer iPhones. What you can say is that it comes close, with the difference being due to the iPhone’s exclusive UI rather than raw Specs.
There is also enough storage on board to meet your storage requirements. Depending on the configuration you choose, the Cubot C30 features either 128GB or 256GB of storage. A Micro-SD card can be used to expand storage.
Cubot C30 Price
The Cubot C30 cost about €163 Euro in Europe. While you can get it at about N76,500 Naira in Nigeria.
