Vivo is gearing up to unveil its latest foldable phones – the Vivo X Fold 3 And X Fold 3 Pro – at an event in China this quarter. Recent leaks reveal key differences between these two highly-anticipated devices.
The X Fold 3 looks to be the more affordable yet still powerful option. Rumours point to it running the blazing-fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. While specs aren’t confirmed, early prototypes lack periscope zoom cameras and certain premium features found in the Pro. Still, the standard X Fold 3 looks to strike an optimal balance of performance, functionality and value.
Stepping up to the X Fold 3 Pro means tapping into next-gen speed and camera technology. Industry insiders claim it will utilize the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for enhanced AI and graphics. Its triple-lens rear camera system seems to include a 50MP main, ultra-wide and periscope telephoto with up to 64MP resolution and advanced optical stabilization for crisper, more detailed images.
Exclusively for the Pro: an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader and faster 50W wireless charging. It may also flaunt a lighter, slimmer design despite its larger battery. Expect an immersive 2K resolution inner display with a buttery 120Hz refresh rate.
While availability and pricing remain unconfirmed, the X Fold 3 and 3 Pro represent Vivo’s vision for the future of foldable – elite performance and versatility in a portable form factor. Stay tuned for official launch details later this quarter.
