iTel Reportedly Launching 3 New Power Series Phones

iTel Reportedly Launching 3 New Power Series Phones. The China smartphone brand iTel is allegedly preparing to introduce three new models under its budget-friendly Power series in India sometime in February 2023.

Citing insider sources, 91Mobiles reported that iTel has scheduled a launch event next month where they will unveil the latest entrants in the Power Series. While an exact date hasn’t been revealed yet, an official announcement should surface soon.

The first phone, which is the iTel Power Play is said to ship with Android 14 (Go edition) software out of the box. Android Go is Google’s optimized OS variant designed for entry-level hardware, indicating this Power phone will carry an affordable price tag.

Sources also stated the second handset in the lineup will offer some form of fast charging capabilities, allowing users to top up the battery when running low quickly.

As for the third model, it will supposedly come equipped with a unique memory feature specifically for the Indian market. No further details were given regarding the specifics, though.

A leaked image of one of the upcoming Power phones was also shared, showing a dual rear camera setup with LED flash arranged vertically, along with a centred hole-punch housing the front-facing camera. The design looks very comparable to itel’s recently launched P55+ model unveiled in Africa earlier this February.

Overall, itel seems to be gearing up for an action-packed February by preparing three new and likely competitive budget smartphones under its Power banner.

With the series already known for large batteries, durable builds and affordable pricing, the addition of next-gen software, fast charging and custom India-centric features could make these compelling options for price-conscious Indian buyers needing reliable daily drivers.

While mystery still surrounds the hardware specifics, interested consumers keen on checking out what iTel’s R&D department has produced won’t have long to wait, with the India launch slated for sometime next month.
