iTel Launches iTel P55 Plus With Fancy Dynamic Island Display and Fast Charging

Itel Launches iTel P55 Plus. Itel has just released its newest phone – the iTel P55 Plus – for customers in Africa. This phone stands out for some cool features that techies will appreciate.

The P55+ has a big 6.6-inch display that uses IPS LCD technology for vivid colors. Even better, it has a fast 90Hz refresh rate, meaning scrolling and animations look super smooth. The display has a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera rather than a notch.

Running the show is a Unisoc T606 processor with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage options are generous, too, at 128GB or 256 GB. Multitaskers and mobile gamers should have no issues with lag.

One major highlight is 45W fast charging. Itel claims you can charge the large 5,000mAh battery up to 65% in just 30 minutes. A full charge takes about 75 minutes. Very quick!

The Itel P55 Plus ships with Android 13 software and Itel’s custom interface. This includes something called Dynamic Bar, which works similarly to the popular Dynamic Island on iPhones.

For photography, there is a 50MP main camera on the back along with an AI lens. Selfie lovers can snap shots using the 8MP front camera.

Other noteworthy features are the headphone jack, face unlock, a memory card slot, and modern USB-C charging. The Itel P55+ goes on sales for around $140. Color options are Galaxy Blue, Royal Green, and Meteor Purple.
