Redmi Unveiling Redmi Book 16, Redmi K70 Series, and Wearables Today; Chinese tech brand Redmi has a product launch happening today in China. The event will reveal several new devices including Redmi Book 16 laptop, Redmi K70 Series smartphones, and companion audio products.

The headlining laptop brings some impressive next-gen specs:

  • – Premium metal design – 15.9mm thin and 1.68kg light
  • – 16-inch 2.5K resolution screen with 120Hz refresh rate 
  • – Latest 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13500H processor (12-cores)
  • – 72Wh battery for 16+ hour video playback 
  • – 100W fast charging
  • – Dual fans/pipes for cooling
  • – Flagship-level memory and storage 

The book 16 promises lightweight construction with top-end performance at what is likely an affordable Redmi price point. 

The new Redmi K70 smartphones were also teased featuring the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets. Additionally, Redmi will unveil the Redmi Buds 5 Pro earbuds and Redmi Watch 4 wearable at today’s event.

Specific pricing and availability details on these Redmi devices will be formally announced within the next hours as the launch presentation gets underway shortly.
