Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Emerges On Gekbench: The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 is Samsung’s succeeding entry in the rugged smartphones series and after seeing its leaked renders in the early days of this week, we now have a Geekbench run that has detailed its key specifications. The device is listed as Samsung SM-G556B and is enabled with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and 6GB RAM.

The Galaxy XCover 7 is spotted featuring a model number SM-G556B, (through MySmartPrice) in Geekbench’s database. This upcoming smartphone seems to be using a mid-range processor from MediaTek, this might mean that the device will be a mid-range smartphone.

Geekbench also reveals that since Galaxy XCover 7 will be using a MediaTek processor, it’s going to be two high-performance CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six power-efficient CPU cores clocked at 2GHz. Looking at the model number, it is noticed that the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 is a 5G smartphone, so it will have a 5G chipset. This has made us conclude that the Galaxy XCover 7 might use the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 device is managed by a 663 single-core score and 1,867 points in the multi-core department. The listing also revealed the device is of Android 14 which is likely paired with One UI 6. There is no official word when we can expect to see the XCover 7’s announcement but speculations suggest its coming in the first Quarter of 2024.
