The laptop can integrate up to 40GB of dual-channel DDR5 RAM clocked at 4800 MHz. Storage is provided via a speedy 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Together, these components allow swift boot-ups and loading of everyday applications.

ASUS Vivobook 14 2024 Connectivity

Despite the thinner chassis, ASUS has managed to fit an ample selection of I/O ports into the Vivobook 14 2024. It comes equipped with one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 2.0, an HDMI output, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.

This generous connectivity enables students and professionals to easily use external monitors, legacy peripherals, and accessories with the laptop without requiring dongles or adapters. It empowers the Vivobook to transform into a productivity or multimedia hub when desk-bound readily.

Launching First in China

ASUS has not provided details yet on worldwide availability for the Vivobook 14 2024. For now, the laptop is launching solely in China where it can be pre-ordered on leading e-commerce platforms like and Tmall.

Given the company’s track record of bringing devices to international markets after the initial release in China, global audiences can expect the Vivobook 14 2024 to land in places like North America and Europe later, likely with appropriate regional configurations.

Pricing starts at 3799 yuan ($528 USD) for the base model featuring the Core i5-13500H processor, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. Higher-spec options with 32GB memory and 2TB storage are also listed by some retailers.
