Samsung’s Galaxy A73 5G and Budget A14 5G Now Receiving One UI 6.1 Software Update. Samsung is rolling out its latest One UI 6.1 software update based on Android 14 to even more Galaxy devices, including the upper mid-range Galaxy A73 5G and affordable Galaxy A14 5G phones.
The update for the A73 5G carries firmware version A736BXXU5DWK2 and also contains the November 2022 security patch level. On the budget-friendly A14 5G, the update is arriving as version A146BXXU2CWK9 with the same November security update bundled in.
The updates are substantial at around 3GB for the A73 5G and 1.8GB for the A14 5G. This major software refresh brings Samsung’s revamped One UI 6.1 interface to both devices, featuring visual changes like a reorganized quick settings panel, a refreshed home screen, and much more.
As usual with phased rollouts, not all owners may receive the Android 14 update notification right away. The update appears to be reaching devices across various regions, but it can take time to propagate fully.
